The people who run this place are brilliant. I love Mill Pond!!
When I first rescued my dog, a vet technician (unaffiliated with Mill Pond) was convinced she wasn’t going to make it. She had severe tooth infections, open, infected wounds on her head that she kept scratching and reopening, heartworms, and other problems. 3+ years later and she is completely healthy and is my backpacking companion that makes climbing up to 4000 ft peaks in the White Mountains look easy. This is 100% because of Dr. Lang. We started going to him when he was at a different practice and although he and I have both moved since then, I still drive 1.5 hours to go to him. He really spends time with you and your pet to ensure he is catching everything and you understand what’s going on and how to help. He truly cares about your animals. When my dog had a very uncommon issue, he called specialists to be sure he was making the right decisions in her treatment and, not just him, but the entire team is like this! I know when I call to make an appointment or ask a question, they will do their best to give me all of the information and help I need. The people who run this place are brilliant at knowing how to “triage” questions and problems. I know when I call about anything, they will listen to what I actually need and find the best solution. I seriously can’t recommend Mill Pond Veterinary Hospital enough. I also feel so much better knowing that they aren’t part of a big chain where veterinarians are “supposed” to prescribe, perform, or recommend certain things. Here, I know that the recommendations are truly what would be best for my dog. I love Mill Pond!!
