Dr. Meghana Parikh joins the Mill Pond Vet team with a diverse range of professional experience. Following undergrad at the University of California, Berkeley, Dr. Parikh completed her veterinary degree at the University of Pennsylvania. She then moved to Tennessee, where she earned a Master of Public Health and worked as an epidemiologist investigating infectious diseases in human healthcare systems. While there, Dr. Parikh also practiced veterinary medicine at local clinics where she treated everything from cats and dogs to goats and cattle.
Prior to joining our team, Dr. Parikh led shellfish health disease research at NOAA Fisheries to support shellfish aquaculture and natural resource management. Dr. Parikh is passionate about preventive medicine and helping pet parents achieve their long-term health goals for their pets. Dr. Parikh shares her home with her husband, son, and cat and enjoys spending her time at the beach and in the garden growing food and flowers.
